Foad Seddigh was born in Iran, where he received his first degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tehran University. Subsequently, he obtained a Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Aeronautics from Oregon State University, U.S.A.
His academic career spanned 38 years, where he taught Mechanical Engineering in three continents. He retired as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and was licensed as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
He pioneered to Africa and also to South Pacific Islands with his family for more than three decades, where he served on two National Spiritual Assemblies in two countries for a total of 20 years.
He is the author of nearly fifty technical papers, monographs, and an academic book. His recent books include “Seyri dar Bustani Madinatus-Sabr” (Persian) and “Hidden Pearls”, published by Baha’i Verlag and Mirat Publications.
